For the very first time, Moogfest is traveling 1300 miles to synthesize music, art and technology at SXSW. With the recent news that Texas lawmakers have proposed legislation similar to HB2, the festival will bring its signature Future Thought and Future Sound experience to SXSW for an exploration of diversity and inclusion. The Future Thought program will feature a special conversation with thought-leaders paving the future in various industries. The nighttime Future Sound portion of the event will feature performances from various electronic artists, some which will be performing at Moogfest 2017.
