Join us for the annual Twangfest Day Party at the Broken Spoke in Austin. Now in its 20th year, the party is among the most anticipated afternoon events during the week-long South By Southwest gathering.
This year we will have one amazing event with 10 bands at the Broken Spoke: Thursday, March 14, 2019. Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka!
Known as one of the great country music dance halls in the world, the Broken Spoke has hosted everyone from George Strait to Asleep at the Wheel, Bruce Robison to Dale Watson, Willie Nelson to the Derailers. It's a big (600 person capacity), warm, historic and absolutely dance-friendly hall, with great home cooking and some of the coldest beer in town.
The Broken Spoke is located at 3201 S. Lamar Blvd. Austin, TX 78704.
As always, the Twangfest SXSW party is free and open to the public, with RSVP required. Just become a fan of Twangfest on Facebook and RSVP for the event, and you're set. You may also RSVP by email, if you prefer (press at twangfest dot com).
Each RSVP may bring up to four guests. RSVP does not guarantee admission. Entry subject to capacity.
Party runs noon-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 with two stages at the Broken Spoke.
