This marks the third SXSW event that has gone down at The Audubon Society and this one is going to be the bEST yet! LGBTQIA + Pasta is a queercentric all-day showcase highlighting artists from all over the country that identify within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and serves to highlight that the present, past and future of music is queer! As the name implies, there will be gluten-free pasta served at this event by the truckload! For free! Compostable bowls and utensils will be provided. We're also very proud to announce that we'll have a sponsorship from Tito's Handmade Vodka!
There will be a suggested $5 donation for the touring bands, so pls pls pls consider donating for this event! Touring isn't an easy thing to do financially and every little bit makes a world of difference.
As with every event at The Audubon Society, please respect everyone at this event and ask for consent before making any kind of physical contact and please respect the house! We gotta keep it at least somewhat presentable so our landlord doesn't kick us out and so we can keep on throwing shows!
Set times TBA once the date gets closer! Come on out and have fun with us! Invite all of your non-asshole friends!
