Westbound & Down is an unofficial free south-by Showcase on West 6th Street, hosted and produced by Green Light Social & Red Gorilla Events. The 4 day line up is a mixed bag of EDM, Hip Hop and Indie artists that are offbeat in genre, yet harmonious in good vibes and energy. Westbound’s DNA is built on Austin's live music culture of seeing both up & coming and established artists playing together in eclectic line ups, and intimate settings. Last year we had old school headliners in The Pharcyde & Nappy Roots, mixed in with new artists like Crizzly, Breathe Carolina, ETC!ETC!, Rexx Life Raj, Mobley, & EZI. Westbound & Down's daily showcases are open & accessible to 21+ public. Attendance is free and first come first serve; no RSVP or Registration format. That said, all show's admission limited to Green Light Social’s 271 capacity venue.
