It’s no secret that AI and machine learning are becoming pervasive throughout our society. But with the massive upside potential of this technology there also comes serious risk of unintended consequences, like biased outputs. Luckily, much work is being done to counteract this, with a steady stream of new approaches to make AI more explainable, transparent, fair and ethical.. In this talk we’ll dig into the many considerations surrounding ethics, fairness and responsibility in AI; we’ll also offer scenario-based frameworks and move into an open discussion around broader considerations in the field.
