During this workshop, attendees will be part of a guided discussion where we will talk about what being an ally means as well as what rights and responsibilities come with this word. We will deep dive into what this means in a workplace or other professional setting and how to walk the line between advocating for LGBT+ people and interfering with their right to stand up for themselves. Whatever changes an attendee may choose to make after this workshop, everyone will leave the room with heightened awareness and a more introspective experience on what it means to be an ally, both in theory and in practice.
