Have you dreamed about traveling around the world? Journalist Jada Yuan got that chance in 2018 when she was chosen out of 13,000 applicants to become the Inaugural 52 Places Traveler for the New York Times. She went to 52 places in under 12 months, capturing her experiences in writing, video, and photography. She'll speak with Los Angeles Times' Mark Olsen about what she packed, traveling solo, and what was — and wasn't — dreamy about this dream job.
