Responsive design has always meant one thing: websites that stretch and shrink to adapt to different screen sizes. But what if we stopped adapting to different screens, and started adapting to different users?
Different devices shouldn't deliver identical experiences. Instead, we should go above and beyond traditional responsive design by utilizing common device patterns and UX research. By first identifying user needs, we can design cross-platform without sacrificing consistency and standards.
