Womxn of color (WoC) are currently the largest growing segment of degree holders and by 2060 women of color will be the largest segment of the US population. Despite recent gains and high profile leaders such as Indra Nooyi, Carla Harris, Pramila Jayapal and others - WoC face some of the biggest barriers at work. Future for Us launched in January 2019 to address the challenges and create a platform that advances WoC towards the highest levels of leadership across sectors. This conversation will dive into data about WoC at work and move the DEI conversations past just the diversity conversation which focused primarily on numbers of women and people of color at work towards a focus on evolving workplaces where WoC thrive.
