Over the past few years we have seen a shift in the fundraising strategies for Black Founders with a recent trend of successful equity/philanthropy crowdfunding campaigns. Of which a significant source of investments are coming from with the black community. This talk will bring together the data points demonstrating the (1) network effect, (2) provide examples of companies/non-profits who have successfully completed, and (3)strategies for those looking to utilize the tools.
