City governments, researchers, companies, and non-profits are learning how to improve safety, mobility, health, and other aspects of cities by using data-driven, analytics-powered techniques and solutions. These smart city approaches will enable us to create integrated, inclusive, sustainable cities — but the problems are challenging, cities are vast and complex, and the technologies are evolving rapidly, making collaboration and information sharing crucial to success.
