For more than 20 years, James Ohlen has been responsible for building the story structure in games where players can make choices that have an impact on how the story unfolds. This includes games such as Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age: Origins. This talk focuses on how to add player agency into story without taking away from immersive storytelling.
