During the 2020 SXSW conference, NextTribe, the lifestyle network for smart, engaged women 45-plus, will host a cocktail party and panel that focuses on female entrepreneurs in this age group, one of the fastest growing segments of new business owners.
The event will feature four speakers with experience as entrepreneurs and as advisors to new startups and will take place in an exclusive private venue in the Tarrytown neighborhood of Austin.
At the 2019 SXSW, NextTribe presented a panel called, “How Midlife Women Work Their Entrepreneurial Mojo.” Following up on that success, NextTribe, whose tag line is Age Boldly, decided to continue the conversation on this important theme in a more intimate setting.
“We wanted NextTribe to keep its presence at SXSW since so few panels or events are geared to women in this age group,” ’said Jeannie Ralston, CEO and co-founder of NextTribe. “It’s time to celebrate midlife women who are taking advantage of a life’s worth of experience to launch their own businesses.”
