Description: Everyone has a complicated relationship with social platforms, but for better or worse, they have become the ultimate source of content discovery and artists rely on them to build and connect with their fan base. So the question for creators isn't so much whether they should play along, but how they can make the most of their social presence, without letting it get in the way of their creative process, the relationship they have with their audience, or their mental health. In this talk we ask creators how they fit social media into their overall creative strategy and feed their dreams without feeding the algorithm.
