According to Executive Chef Rick Lopez, "all of our providers called me when the news broke of the cancellation and I told each of them 'However much I promised to buy from you a few days ago, I'm holding to it.”
So, after 10 years of being downtown Austin’s wateringhole and hang out spot for locals and visitors alike, La Condesa is STILL doing the damn thing.
Chef Rick is running specials for Lunch, Brunch, Dinner and Happy Hour. Highlights include Chuletón (a tomahawk ribeye), fried chicken tortas, and the Tostada de Tartare. Chef Rick has also designed a specialty mid-day menu that pairs with his personal playlist of favorite jams.
